Hot water heating

Is a heating system in which heat is generated in a boiler located in a specific and heat through a heat transfer fluid (in this case water) is distributed to each terminal elements, generally radiators or radiant floors that emit heat to environments that require it.
The choice of water as a heat transfer due to a substance which is inexpensive, common to all the constructions and, particularly, its specific heat is the largest among all substances known, which requires a lower flow rate than any other substance to transport the same amount of heat.
Although it is rarely used, also frequently used steam as heat carrier. Has the advantage that it can be reached at higher temperatures and better flowing through conduits, and can be put terminal elements (radiators) smaller but also has the drawbacks that the surface of these radiators is at an elevated temperature , which can cause burns on contact, and it is more difficult to regulate by automatic means.
In this system, the boiler being located at another location, often specifically for her, can orearse freely without problems for local heated. On the contrary, in traditional systems (fireplace) combustion is made on the premises and the outside air for combustion and is cold, you have to go through the site and cools the environment to be heated.
Another advantage is that the larger the boiler (have more power) better performance (ratio between energy and really brings that theoretically can provide fuel) so that the larger the facility served by the boiler, better.
The boiler can serve a single user (single central heating), a whole building (collective central heating) or a neighborhood or even a city (district heating).

Hot Water

Hot Water (DHW) is water for human consumption (drinking) that has been heated. Used to human health uses (toilets, showers, etc..) And other uses cleaning (scrubbing dishes, washing machine, dishwasher, scrubbing floors).
The hot water can be prepared in essentially two ways:

By accumulation

In a water tank heated by a boiler outside to have, at any time, enough for the intended use at the facility. This system, called centralized water can also prepare for a single user (single house or premises) or for many users (collective system). If the storage tank and pipes are large enough, they can use the many points at once. From the energy point of view, it is much more efficient than the next.

By warming “instant”

The water circulates through a coil heated directly by the flame or through heated water heater (generally used for the heater). Given the power required in boiler, this system can only feed a consumer point, or tap. The energy efficiency of this system is much less than before.

Energy Use

ACS preparation requires considerable amount of energy and is a greater consumption of the residential building, assuming amounts between 20% and 40% of total consumption.
