Solar water heater installation

Today we bring you a work that until now we had not published. It consists of a solar water heater.

It consists of 2 main elements: the solar collectors and the storage tank. The collectors are placed outside and allow to collect the heat from the solar radiation in order to heat the water, while the storage tank is installed inside the house and serves to store the water heated by the collectors.

The system heats the water during the day, but you don’t have to worry about running out of hot water at night. Since it has systems of maintenance of the temperature of the water. So we will have hot water all day long.

This hot water system does not only depend on the sun, because if we have a deficit of sun or heat, we can heat the water through the electric network of the house. Moreover, it should not reach 100% of the energy needs in winter we would not spend light, but in summer we would have a great super habitat of energy. This would increase the cost of installation and unnecessary machines that we would not recover.

These systems are 100% safe and there would be no danger of burns since they consist of regulatory systems, in case of overheating of the water would even have a system to add cold water and not exceed the temperature limits.

This water heating system would not produce electricity. Since it does not have photovoltaic panels, which convert sunlight into electrical energy.

The installation of solar panels are not of plumbing. The solar thermal installations for hot water are in the scope of applications of the RITE (regulation of thermal installations in buildings) for which, the installations must be calculated and executed by companies accredited to this regulation. They are not traditional plumbing installations.

If you still don’t know if it’s a good solution for you, add that it doesn’t have to be sunny 300 days a year. In fact in more northern countries like Germany, Austria or France. It is a very used source of hot water. They even generate more hot water with this system than in Spain.
