From AC Torrevieja we want to show you one of the installations that we have recently made in Torrevieja. On this occasion it is an installation that can not always be carried out, as it is the installation of 2 air conditioners or splits that work only with an external compressor.
This system in which a single outdoor unit or compressor provides everything necessary for several indoor units or splits is known as multisplit.
The multisplit system alters the external aesthetics of your home to a lesser extent, as it only has one outdoor unit. It is therefore a good solution if you do not have enough space to put several units outside.
With this type of installation, the installer’s work is made easier, as he/she will have to do less work.
The energy efficiency of the multisplit system is higher than that resulting from the sum of several single split systems. The energy savings come from the fact that several machines can be operated simultaneously with one compressor.
Are there any disadvantages to the multisplit?
The main disadvantage is the risk of a breakdown in the outdoor unit. If this happens, we will lose the air conditioning in all the indoor units, as these machines have a closed circuit for all the indoor units.
